We lost two Generals when Orakor left rubi-ka and when Zianno got busy somewhere else, but the good news is that Blastenfo accepted a promotion and he's now a part of our leadership. With eight Generals and our President Tomifix at the round table, TRB should be in good hands. There's a good mix of races as well with 3 Opifexes, 2 Nanomages and 4 Atroxes. You may say that we lack representatives from Solitus, but we've learned that they are very destructive. So this time we didn't find a position for them at the round table until a position as minister of war opens up. Subject : Forum is online again! The election went on for 2 weeks and when the poll was closed Strombanni was the winner with 44,4% of the votes. Strombanni made a quick comment to the daily red before running to an important meeting, and we asked him how he feels about being the first President who's been elected for a second period : "First, thank you very much for all the votes. It means a lot to me to have the support and to be able to continue the work to reach our goals. It feels good that our members have faith in me, and I will work hard to not let them down." Always supportive and with an aura of harmony. She got her evil sides as well, but you can only see them if you give her some fly fungus (rød fluesopp). Then you awake the Viking side of her, her eyes turns red and the shining halo above her head disappears. This is pretty useful at raids as she can wipe out the target alone, but it can be pretty scary. So we often send a squad in front of her, removing all the fly fungus in her way. Exactly two months ago she stepped up and became our President! Today she's celebrating the 2 months anniversary by reaching enlightenment, and is our member nr 24 to achieve that in our history. Tuesday 13.3.2007 at 10:35 Author : Strombanni  Kitane started out as a martial artist and used to be a peaceful fellow who we often saw in a straw hat sitting and doing some meditation. During the nights he was dancing in the shadows defending his people from the evil troops sent by omni-tek. Rumours said that once he defeated an omni squad alone which was trying to get some information from a poor old man. They beat him up pretty badly, but Kitane showed up just in time leaving the troops unconscious.But then he changed. No one knew what happened. But he started being more violent. He washed the streets with blood, and started using weapons instead of his fists. Instead of being a defender for his people, he became a soldier. A mean killing machine. No one was safe. He turned into an evil version of Chuck Norris. But luckely.. just a few days ago we think he found himself again. Monday 15.1.2007 at 15:54 Author : Strombanni  Bwlvych decided to step down after two months as our President due to real life and time issues. So this issue was the first post on the agenda yesterday at the officer meeting. After a vote, we decided to ask the person who ended up at nr 2 on the president poll, which was Tomifix. She accepted, and is now your new President! Congratulations and thank you Tomifix!Here is a quote from some of her speech : "First of all, thank you for all the support I've recived over the last hours since I've recived the leadership. It really means alot to me. Right now I'm a bit scared and very exited to start my new job. TRB has gone through some changes lately and there are a few more changes comming up soon I've tried a few other orgs in AO, but no other could give me what I've found in TRB. What makes TRB a great org for me is the combination of several things. TRB is a group of friends. The importance of friendship I really can't emphasize enough. As we all want the best for our friends and want them to be happy, we help out and offer support both when things are good and when things are bad for some reason. I've seen this friendship in other orgs too, but there has been a serious lack of organisation and goals. TRB got good organisation and goals. Through the years goals have been set and reached. For those that have no idea, please read history section. And ofcourse, we have a good group of exellent players that really knows the game, and are willing to share their knowledge. It takes a lot of work to keep this org a good one. We have officers that give loads of their time to make things work, and we have some great members that really put their heart and soul into TRB." As any other org, TRB have challenges to face. One of the things easiest to spot in AO is greed. We still need to keep focus on 'need before greed'. I know this is hard at times, and the hardest part is acctualy to figure out what's need and what's greed. It's never fun to feel gimp, and it can be hard to see others 'easily' get stuff you have to work your butt of to get yourself. Envy creates greed. Be happy when your friends get something they want, next time it might be your turn.Another nasty thing too look out for is sub-grouping. Not seen much of it in TRB, and I hope in the future to avoid it." She finished by telling us some of the changes we will have in the near future and a short report from the officer meeting. Subject : Snakeeyes finally made it! Tuesday 9.1.2007 at 11:51 Author : Strombanni  It's been almost 3 years since Snakeeyes arrived on rubi-ka and joined The Red Brotherhood. He has been faithful and never been in another guild, and has been a member of our leadership and a General for quite some time now. Apart from being the Martial Artist mentor in TRB, he is also the editor of the Daily Red which is our own newspaper.So congratulations Snakeeyes! You've become the first 220 Martial Artist in TRB! That was the good news, now to the bad news. We have received an official statement that due to time issues Bwlvych wish to step down from his President chair. It has not even been 2 months since he was given the leadership by me (Strombanni), so this is not a wanted situation for neither Bwlvych or TRB. At 14th January we will have an officer meeting where this issue is on the agenda among other important decisions that has to be made. Meanwhile I have taken the leadership back until we find a permanent solution. Thank you Bwlvych for first taking the leadership and then making the hard decision of stepping down. First on our list was Reshertr, and he accepted meeting one of our journalists for a chat. He was mainly asked about his period as President, what the hard part was, what motivated him etc. Then we sent a journalist out again, and this time to interview the living legend Synelle. She was TRBs second president, and our first (and still only) female president! She made the path for TRB which we have been following since then. I want to wish all members of The Red Brotherhood, all members of our alliance and everybody in the AO community a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Wow, this year has been exciting. We can be proud of this year. I have lost count on how many times we wrote history this year, but just to mention a few : We have grown to a bigger and more powerful organisation, but we have still managed to keep the TRB spirit and policy. First inferno garden key was accomplished early this year, and a few days later we killed Fleet Admiral for the first time. The next month Plexor was the first member to reach 220. We raided Mercs and Hollow Island for the first time alone. We joined CoT... the list goes on and on. To see us reaching our goals and see how we work to help each other is truly an inspiration. I find myself touched to see you all spend energy on making The Red Brotherhood what it is today. I thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. We're not finished! We got new goals to reach out for and many ways to improve. I am not worried about what the next year may bring. Not at all. We can face all challenges with members like you. Subject : Three new Generals Monday 21.11.2005 at 9:10 Author : Strombanni With the resignations received from Althorax, Reshertr and Ramillis, we decided to bring some fresh blood into the leaders rank. Three Squad Commanders were promoted to Generals at the promotion event : Nichanidame, Bwlvych and Ectomest. Beside from attending to leader meetings and take their part of the responsibility and tasks, Nichanidame will be our representative at the council of truth, Bwlvych will be our recruiting officer and Ectomest will be our minister of war. They have already started in their new jobs, and we are really looking forward to what the future brings. Today Dean was offered the important job in The Red Brotherhood, and we're happy to announce that he accepted the job. Thursday 28.7.2005 at 12:55 Author : Strombanni A thief got into General Plexors appartment last night, and the investigation so far shows that he managed to copy Plexors access card while he was out on the field playing golf. He also broke into the appartment while Plexor was playing golf, so either he has been following him for some time to know when General Plexor was out of the appartment, or he simply knows that Plexor is playing golf nonstop everyday after work. He got away with almost 40 million credits which Plexor kept under his bed. He stole the following items from the appartment : A book collection (16 books) called "Golf for dummies", a backpack filled with NCU memories, compilers and green cards, a huge golf ball made of gold from inferno, a thin and starving cat and finally some nude pictures of Plexor playing golf.  The hidden cam got a picture of the thief when he was sitting inside the appartment drinking Plexors tea, and so far we know it is a nanomage male and his age is somewhere between 20 and 25. This job was done very professionaly, and all evidence so far is going towards someone who is an engineer and very active on the market. Many warriors will put down their swords and guns the two upcomming months to relax and recharge their batteries. We're even sending our bot to a sunny beach where she can party for a couple of weeks. I attached a picture of her which we took on her last vaccation 2 years ago. I am leaving tomorrow at 6 a.m, and will be away for 2+ weeks. This means there will not happen much in the areas where I am responsible during that time. With this, I hope all of you will take some time to relax and do something completely different, if only for a week. Subject : Complain on IPR system in Anarchy Online Tuesday 5.4.2005 at 11:04 Author : Strombanni We are currently gathering all the players of Anarchy Online point of view, their story - their side of the current IPR system currently used. Long has it been denied by Funcom that this is not needed, cause their statistics from player base says its not necessary to add any IPR and they dont feel their design needs any new system. We are trying to usher this issue by making players send emails to us so we can gather them up and show Funcom that this really is a problem that affects many good and loyal costumers of them. IPR is a very huge problem for me personally, as I only have 1 ipr left. The reason is that as a doc I didn't find a weapon I liked and enjoyed, and I've used pistols, 1h edge, assault rifle etc etc. With all the specials on the weapons, the ipr points were gone pretty fast. You also make IP mistakes now and then and have to ipr other skills as well. My opinion is that Funcom should change their ipr policy since new weapons and equippment are being introduced with patches and expansions all the time. Yes, we're talking about TRBs race to be the first one to reach the golden level, 220! Plexor only got a couple of hours more SK'ing before he hit 218, and the one on second place (which is me) currently got more than 1 million SK to 217. He's therefore almost 2 levels ahead, and as you all know... that's a lot when we're talking about Shadowland levels! At the moment, I can't see anyone at all who can compete with Plexor, only if that someone skip work and social life for a week or so! And that's not gonna happen, is it ? I will therefore wish Plexor all the luck and best wishes to be the first member of The Red Brotherhood to reach level 220! Sunday 23.1.2005 at 3:31 Author : Strombanni Not long ago, six members got the first inferno keys in TRBs history and some also got their inferno sanct keys. We're still a pretty small guild, so that was a pretty big step for us. We farmed all the patterns ourselves, got em all made and killed them all. Thanks to Kapteeni "Juliena" Haddock for helping out with NSD on the last two pbs! Today we wrote history again as we managed to kill the Fleet Admiral "General" on the alien ship for the first time. We usually had problems with outdamaging his heals, but today one team of brothers just never gave up! Team was : Plexor, Snakeeyes, Onaelmel, Wrumfx, Hellslayaah and Strombanni! Loot wasn't bad either, we got 1 lead viralbots from the raid, one ql 300 NCU and one ql 300 weapon upgrade among all the other stuff. We have now decided to move, and to demolish our old city is the first part of the plan. We will have to wait 24hours before we can build our new city, since that's the current law on rubi-ka.
