On Saturday 15th August 2009 Snakeeyes was given the leadership by our former President, Tomifix. Tomifix then ended her second period as The Red Brotherhoods President, and she will now be leaving rubi-ka for personal reasons. Snakeeyes has been in TRB for 5 years now, and spent 4 of them as a General, and he felt that it was time to join a President election. The other candidate who joined was no other than General Zarvano himself, and both announced their program, opinions and how they see TRB in the future to all of our members. Both were really good candidates, so we would be in good hands no matter who won. When the poll was closed, Snakeeyes was announced as our new President. Congratulations to Snakeeyes!

He finished his speech with these words : "As I said I want to keep TRB’s traditions of being a social org of friends that does everything from events to tower wars and hardcore raiding. I believe there is a way to balance those three things and that would be my main goal as president. No one should be forgotten in this org, neither lowbies, midbies or highbies."

This has really been a crazy and active weekend for us in The Red Brotherhood. It started friday night when we gathered up and did all three sectors, 35, 13 and 28, and we managed to gather four TRB teams for this. The aliens never had a fair chance. Also congratulations to Shaella who dinged AI lvl 30 during the raid! It got a bit late so many had to leave for the night, but some of us wanted more and went to Pande where we managed to kill our way to The Night Heart. Now that was a nice friday.

On Saturday night we gathered our forces again and went where no TRB team has been before, to the beast lair. Of course most of us have been there before with random teams and raidbots, but this time it was only us... The Red Brotherhood vs The Beast. And we did it! Tons of zods items, symbiants, pande belt and beast loot, and we were lucky enough to get two BoCs. Unfortunately it got a bit too late for some, so we had to cancel our planned red parade ths same evening. Some of us joined some highbie tower raids instead of sleeping.

In about one hour we're about to finish this weekend with several Biodome raids, a suprise in old athen and if we're enough late tonight we're gonna complete the evening with a Sector 13 APF raid. What a weekend!

Today the members of The Red Brotherhood met up at West Athen plateau for a planned promotions event. After we reset the ranks some time ago to see who was active and fix the problem of our org closing in on the limit of number of members allowed, it was time to promote some of our loyal, helpful and initiative-taking members! Our Squad Commander section needed some new blood and it got 6 new additions and maybe 2 more to come soon. Three other members got promoted to other ranks at the event. After the promotion event was over, some items were raffled and we marched back to our hanghout spot in Old Athen, red parade style! For those that didn't get promoted this time; hang in tough, your time will come!

A new video can be found at the videos section! This is a video made to celebrate our guild, and it was released the 31st May 2009 at an org meeting in Tir. We're still going strong since we formed in 2003, we're still alive! After the guild meeting was finished, we did a parade to Old Athen where all of us were dressed in red robes and red hoods. After walking through old athen we ended up at old athen hills where we offered free buffs for everyone. Our allies The Red Tigers and Wen-Tzu Enclave joined in, and more and more people visited old athen to check what was going on. Orakor also pulled the traditional trade competition where he gives 5m to the 10 first persons who trades him. And it wasn't too easy to find in a red chaos at old athen hills!

It turned out to be a very nice day with org meeting, parade and the release of a new video!

This upcoming Sunday we will have the earlier announced mandatory org meeting. Please check out the forums for location and the exact time. There will be some information given, there will be some discussions and there will be a suprise! So make sure to make some room in your schedule on Sunday, and bring something to drink (Severein will bring Muffins). There will also be an open post during the meeting where you can bring your thoughts or ask your questions, so make sure to write them down so you remember them.
