About 20 members showed up at Strombanni's orbital appartment for an org meeting on friday. The org have slowly woken back to life after some quiet days during the holidays, and on friday we got together to discuss the different sections of our org, to set goals for the future and some members were promoted to higher ranks. I feel that our org stands stronger after the meeting, and I'm looking forward to seeing some sections brought back to life. When the meeting was over we took some of our traditional group screenshot, as you can see to the right.

 

But the org meeting is only the beginning of this weekend for TRB. On Saturday we have plans to do some full org raiding and events, and on Sunday we will head for Pandemonium to kick The Beast's ass! We have gotten many nice applicants lately and the future looks bright for TRB, wich will celebrate its 7th anniversary this summer.

 

Long live the clans, and long live TRB!

 

At the time of writing there's still almost two weeks to go for christmas. But as people get busy with shopping, cleaning, decorating and visiting friends and family we all know those weeks are gonna go fast. Therefore the TRB community wants to wish everyone a merry christmas, and we hope you all will have a pleasant holidays with lots of quality time with your loved ones!

 

Meanwhile we'll wait in eager to see the balancing of the professions, the breed-swap possibility and we haven't given up on that new engine yet either!

 

As a final note I want to say that our recruitment will be open during the holidays, but as many of us will be busy I will have to ask new applicants to be patient after making an application post.

Sunday 22.11.09 more than 20 TRB members showed up for an auction at the War Academy in Athen Shire. Strombanni was the holder of the auction and even though we had some technical difficulties he pulled it off perfectly as always. The auction started with some well chosen words from Strombanni, where he talked a bit about the history of the War Academy and that TRB had both its first guild event there, its first city close by and that we previously had held the closest notum field in the past. Before long the auction started with truely jaw-dropping items donated by Mahaltica, Sulisoldat and Strombanni. Alien Armor sets and single pieces, surprise backpacks filled with phats, lots of profession spesific rare items, backpacks filled with NCU and symbiants, the list went on and on. After two and a half hours the last item was won and we can mark this date as a truely great evening in TRB's history! 

 

Thanks to those who donated all those great items, thanks to Strombanni for arranging the auction and thanks for eveyone that came and made this an evening to remember!

We just released a new video called The Death Star! It was originally meant to be a bigger project, but it was cut down to half for several reasons. Anyway, head over to our videos section and check it out!

I always thought that our presentation video released 24th February 2008 would be our last video before the new AO graphic engine, but this is the fourth video since then and still no new engine. But we are still here, we are still alive.. and this time we got death star on our side!

We currently have problems with one of the MySQL-databaseservers, and that's why our forum is down at the moment. It's a routing problem, and we're working on it and hopefully it will be back up soon! Please check back later. While you are waiting for the forum to come back up, you could visit our videos section where we recently added a new video.

UPDATE 9th oct 10:40 CET: Ok, it was a bit worse than it looked at the beginning. The good news is that the databaseserver is up and running again, but the bad news is that some databases is corrupt and of course one of them had to be our forums. It is currently being restored, but I don't have any ETA atm. Should be up sometime today though.
