.: Interview with Olyckan :.

"Move your ass !"

“Let’s go, move it move it!” Olyckan runs at the very front of the raidforce. A huge group of clanners is following right behind him. Bursts of bullets and the sound of steel meeting bone can be heard. Everything from the biggest enforcer to the smallest agent is present. Pets of all kinds are running towards the angry mobs infront of the force. A beam of nano energy goes right past my head and explodes into one of the mobs chest. We’re in Pandemonium, the last frontier of the Shadowlands. This isn’t the usual setting for me to do an interview in, but what the heck, it’s a good day to die.

I run up next to Olyckan. “Stay close together and move your ass!” he shouts to the ones in the back trying to loot the mobs on the ground. Suddenly a big shadow is raging over one of them. A angry mob gets his claws in him and pulls him into the darkness. “Some never listen” Olyckan says with a sigh. He then turns his focus back to the front of the force and pushes on. Running beside him I get a chance to ask a question now and then. “Do you have time for a few questions from the Daily Red as we go?” “Sure thing” he replies. I grab my notepad from inside my cloak, but as I’m looking at the first question a fling shot tears it out of my hands and rips it to pieces. I guess I have to do the interview on the fly.

“People will always need you ”

"You chose Soldier as profession when you landed on Rubi-Ka. How do you like the prof and what do you think is the best part of being a soldier?" "I made the choice to be a soldier due to the fact that I had recently finished my army service on my home planet when I started my Rubi-Ka life. And since that day I have always liked the soldier profession. The best part as a soldier in my mind is the fact that u are always needed. It doesn’t matter what you are doing, people will always need your reflects and your ability to tank/offtank mobs." Olyckan aims at the body of a mob and puts his D-Shark on full auto. A green burst of bullets slams into the mob and it falls over. He gets down on his knees and reloads the assault rifle and starts shooting again on the way back up. The raidforce is standing its ground and keeps pushing on forward.

"If you were to give only one advice to other Soldiers, what would that be?" "Always keep a finger on your tms/ams shield, it will save your life over and over again".

"If only they would listen…"

"You are and have been raidleader of many clan raidbots and your name is well known in the clan community. How has the experience of being raidleader been for you and are there any positive/negative sides of being such a public person?" "My experience as a raidleader have had its up's and down's, but for the most parts it’s been a great experience. Ofcourse there are negative things about being a puplic person, like many people come and whine to you about lots of things, and not just things that have to do with the clan raidbot, but even stuff non related to the bots. But I must say that its mostly positive being a puplic and well known person. For example you get to know lots of people. When u are well known its easier to get teams for things or just help with something, like tradeskilling or just general help." He looks back again. “Don’t attack the pinks” he shouts as a keeper lifts his sword over his head. He doesn’t hear Olyckan, or doesn’t care. With the sword stuck in the chest of the mob he is defenceless against the other mobs around him. A huge mob picks him up and throws him into a big rock nearby. Olyckan sighs again. “If only they would listen…” I decide to continue with the interview.

CrazyOly

"What do you think TRB and its members can get better at, goals we should set for the future?" "As for TRB i think its good at just about everything, but as you all know I’m not much of a low lvl player since I mostly enjoy doing high lvl stuff. But TRB have come a long way, the only goal I can see atm is going for a succesful raid here at pande."

Green"Are there any episodes from your time on Rubi-Ka that you remember as especially fun/good/bad that you would like to share with The Daily Red?" "The first time I did aliens, back when I was lvl 159 and did my first city raid with TRB. It was uber fun even tho I think I died like 5 times. Since I was new on Rubi-Ka and didn’t know what to do really I FA'ed the aliens when I saw them. That left me no time to get tms up so I kept getting killed and got the nickname Crazyoly by Strombanni/Plexor/Checker and some more. The rezzing part sucks, but atleast you always get a second chance here on Rubi-Ka."

"Any last comments to The Daily Red’s readers?" "Stay strong and true and we will be victorious against the damned omnis he says with a smile." We’re closing in on one of the biggest mobs in Pande, and I decide to stop being a reporter and start fighting. “Give him hell!” Olyckan shouts as he once again empties his weapon in a rain of green bullets.
