Welcome
.: Interview with Reshertr :.

"Hahaha, scared ya did I?"

Outside The Red Brotherhoods headquarter in Avalon, the sun is shining. Some vulturers are flying above my head screaming, they seem pretty aggressive but I'm keeping a safe distance. All around me there are high massive buildings and looking at them makes me proud of being a member of TRB, the guild of friends. Not far away from the HQ, I find the City Controll Tower. Some marks here and there after massive alien attacks, but it has been defended well! All of a sudden the door gets kicked open and a burst of bullets flies through the air followed by a dark but friendly laughter. The vulturers are now all on the ground, not screaming anymore. A tall and muscular being stands in the doorway. A trox with authority. With a grin on his face and a huge weapon in his hands. "Hahaha, scared ya did I?" said the voice. I rekognized him immidietly as Reshertr, former president of TRB.

The hard part is when you have to be the judge

After my pulse starts to get normal again, we walk inside the headquarters. Past the gridterminal and into the big hall with the elevators and the surgery clinic. We make a right turn and walk trough the door that leads to the bar. We grab a beer each and have a seat. "Ok, lets get started" I said. "You agreed to do an interview with me today?" Resh had allready finished his first beer and was going for another, guess troxes can drink alot before getting drunk. "Yes I did, ask away" he replied.

"You just ended your president period, how long did it last?" "Well I took over after Synelle, so it was pretty much a year plus some days" "I see, and when did you come to the planet of rubi-ka?" "That is more than 2 years ago." "That means you've been president almost half the time you've been here. Being president of a guild must be a hard task, what did you think was the hardest part about it?" Resh finishes his second beer, thinks for a few seconds, then replies: "The hard part is when you have to be the judge between people who fails to see the other sides point"

My motivation

"You've been president for a long time with both ups and downs, how did you motivate yourself during the hard times?" "At the start it took alot time, but when the guild grew and some ppl stepped up their effort like Strombanni and Plexor for instance, it became more easy. My motivation was that I enjoyed the everyday life on rubi-ka and felt we had a nice nucleus of guildmates who shared the feeling." I look down to my notepad for the next question, noting down his answers.

"You've buildt TRB up from almost dead to highly active, what is your proudest memory from your time as pres?" "When ppl in our guild achieve things like reaching 220 or getting their QL 300 Weapons on or finish a quest or so and they stay humble and show that being friendly is rewarding. When ppl just give me things for no reason because I might need them like inferno boots. When 20 ppl join a guild raid"

Friendly guild

"Yes, this is truly a friendly guild with nice helpful people" I look around the bar for a few moments. The dancefloor is empty now, but has marks here and there that tells a story of heavy partying and dancing. Most of the inventory is well maintained and looks brand new. I look down again for my next question. "Are there any funny/nice episodes that you remember from your time as pres that you would like to share with the rest of us?" "The time when the aliens attacked was so hectic, I went to do that Uncle bazzit quest with its insane timers and it appeared there was no need. Then a whole guild went looking for a chyrop egg or something. And the rest of the planet as well. Also those first Alien raids where a blast. Getting an inferno garden key was a high too. And all those funny tells, requests, beggers, org channel crap, leader channel crap. At times I loved it, never turned it off."

Less drama, more fun

"Will you stay in TRB untill you die or decide to leave this planet?" "That depends on the outcome of the leaders meeting, but I think I will" "Ok Resh, I have a few last questions for you" "Hit me!" "Is it with a dark mind you step down, or are you looking forward to being just a warrior again?" "No not at all, I step down in a time that I cant give what is needed but I think we are still in a good position!" "Are there any hints/tips/advice you would like to share with our new president?" "No not at all. Strombanni will do fine. He has been part of the backbone of TRB for the last year. I am honored that he is willing to take this job."

"What would you like to see more/less of in TRB in the future?" "Less drama, more fun. And the more friendly ppl the better. So some growth wont be bad. We will see what happens with that lost eden thingy, might have the same wild impact as when the aliens attacked"

"Ok, thanks for your time Reshertr! Any last comments?" "I consider some guildmates friends and I will definitely try to stay in touch with them even after I decide to leave rubi-ka for good"
